These are a few character sketches from a video game design that I'm working on which is a lot like tag but played by a bunch of people who can run straight up walls and jump between skyscrapers. And its sci-fi because the future is cool. The following are my thoughts on these characters:
Doe: Named partly because he has big deer eyes and partly because he has no defining characteristics like a John Doe. That is all.
Sparrow: Wears only bits of tape to cover up her naughty bits. She says that it is to keep her weight down so that she can move faster, but she really just likes to show off. Sparrow is named after an ancient Italian fast-food restaurant.
R66-Y: A humanoid robot whose programming is inspired by Isaac Asimov's 3 Laws of Robotics. While she is unable to harm humans, nothing in the laws says anything about the desire to harm humans. As a result, she lives a tortured life, unable to commit the human genocide that she so craves. She plays tag in hopes that someone gets hit by a car.
Main: Very proud of his hair, which he considers akin to a lion's mane. He would probably be one of the fastest men on the planet if it weren't for the drag created by his massive coiffure.
Hood: Living proof that tag is a dangerous game, Hood is covered in disfiguring scars. She thinks they're totally awesome. Hood is named after one of her piercings.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
