A couple screenshots from Zbrush (not Mudbox, which I wrote originally) of a way too quick sculpt of my Wolverine sketch.
There isn't a fan art category in 3d art! I guess that isn't really suprising! And I suppose I should say that Wolverine is a Marvel character. And I am not Marvel.
edit: I wrote that this was from Mudbox originally but it was actually done in Zbrush. I normally use Mudbox for everything and it was late when I posted this so please excuse the mistake.
A matter of fact is that there isnt any fanart category in any category. Its just one big fanart category where everything should be posted, its really stupid.
I actually made this model in Zbrush and mistakenly wrote Mudbox because I am dumb. But I do normally use Mudbox all the time so I can still answer that question.
The biggest difference between the two is that Mudbox uses an interface that is familiar to a 3d artist while Zbrush takes quite a bit of time to get used to for me. After spending maybe 12 hours on this, I had to practically relearn the controls in XSI, my normal 3d application. Also Zbrush has a bajillion more features, Mudbox is just easier to use for what little it can do.
Unfortunately I'm dumb and wrote Mudbox when I meant Zbrush, sorry. This was my first serious model in Zbrush. Anyway, yeah I normally change background colors, I just like looking at something different I guess. And Zbrush's background is horrid by default.
